VII.2.25 Pompeii. March 2009. Viridarium. East wall with niche at north end. According to Boyce, the inside walls of the niche were painted green and blue and the ceiling was a shell of stucco. The wall around the niche was painted with a garden decoration of plants, flowers and birds. See Boyce G. K., 1937. Corpus of the Lararia of Pompeii. Rome: MAAR 14.
